The AOL browser has an image compression feature that converts images as they load from a website into AOL's proprietary format. (Compuserve is owned by AOL, and uses the same formats and compression in its browser.)
If you have problems viewing the pictures on the pages of the DejaView Photos website or of any other website, the compression is interfering with the image display. To resolve the problem, disable the image compression used by the AOL or Compuserve browser.
If you are using AOL 4.0 or 5.0, you can disable the image compression by clicking the My AOL menu, then selecting Preferences. In the Preferences window, select WWW, then click the Web Graphics tab on the pop-up window. Disable the image compression, then click OK. Restart your computer to implement this change.
If you are using Compuserve 2000, click the Access menu and then select Preferences. In the Preferences window, select WWW, and then click the Web Graphics tab on the pop-up window. Disable the image compression, and then click OK. Restart your computer to implement this change.
